ok ive just read that some of the corsa b engines came with vauxhalls quote of 65bhp as standard & some came with 75bhp, the 75bhp versions seem to appear from a T plate onwards, wants the difference as id like mine to be the 75bhp as standard??

there was never any conclusive evidence to say the Corsa B got the 75bhp model.

Corsa B had a X12XE and 65ps
Corsa C has a Z12XE and 75ps

My Corsa B 1.2 16v was proven 75 bhp. Use me as a case study in future  several other people, Sxiboy, OJC and others also had corsa B 1.2 16v's that made 74-76 bhp standard.

Only going on the manufacturers figures, like wise my car is an SXi corsa B and has been dyno'd at 82BHP and 90lb/ft and again at 80bhp(Warmer day). Only mods are superchip, induction kit and full system.

My 1.2 sxi was slow as fcuk IMO never 75 bhp and it was a 2000 model.

no i wouldnt trust dyno's, mines apparently running 204bhp, with a decat and an air filter.
I dont think it is tbh.

They aren't that powerfull. They drive the same as a 1.0 12v anyway. I can hardly tell the difference.

1.2 sxi corsa 0-60 in ten days if your lucky lol. saying that mine beats 1.4 16v escorts and keeps up with 1.416v 54 plate fiestas. level with 1.4 8v corsas. thats with just a pipercross air filter and a peco big bore 2 back box. cant be that bad. with a big ass sub box in the back that fills the boot too. on 15s aswel.

 There is no way you beat 1.4 16v fiesta's unless there shit at driving both with equal drivers or in a straight line you have no chance

I drove my 1.2 16v after about a month of owning my Gti and couldn't believe I ever though my 1.2 16v Sxi was quick!  Lots of revs, lots of noise... no real go.

They aren't really built with speed in mind though. More like reliablility... Even that they managed to fuck up by making them cluttered with complicated electronics that fucks up
