anyone know what 5 cherps means when locking?when the weathers bad i get 5 cherps when i go to lock it then if i do 5min later it goes off!!!

it means the bonnet or boot is open when you try to set the alarm. If it were three cherps then this would be the doors that were open.
From that i would guess one of your sensors could be broke, maybe water is getting on it and the alarm thinks either the boot or bonnet is open?

yeah but its when he locks it not opens it so more likely to be that the boot or bonnet is open and that means a faulty sensor, trigger?
Try it open the door and set the alarm and it will chirp three times. Close it, unlock the car, open boot and it will chirp 5 times.
