with the chip and transponder and just went out fitted it and the bloody engine managment light is still flashing

Err, so you got a ECU from a different car? And the chip and transponder are from the same car as the ECU?

Correct?

Got a new ecu transponder and ket sent to me from pvsc and it flashes when i turn the ignition on, do i need to reset it or something

As I think Lee had a simular problem with mine, in the end it was something to do with a gearbox speed sensor which had to be wired in but it does'nt do anything just sits in my footwell wired in, just needs a electrical current going to it.

Have you tapped the chip from inside the key onto the transponder? Thats how mine is done.

Intresting, I might be barking up the wrong tree but if you ask me I reckon you need to wire up the gearbox speed sensor as this is what stopped mine from working.

tried paper clip test, when tried it there was a pumping kinda noise from the fuel rail area below the manifold

it flashed once then five times then i got confused

ecu, chip, and transponder all have to be from the same car.
as they all are linked

also they all have to be wired up and the chip has to be in the key

as far as i am aware they are all from the same car. what does the chip look like and il take the key to bits to check it there

eh, they usaully flash 12 3 times and then the fault code and then 12 3 times again!!
