Thinking of putting a car alarm in a shed How often would a new and old car battery need charging

Dad's got loads of old alarm systems i can use but will need a battery from either a scarp yard or a new one from Motorworld or wherever.

The battery on the C3 has lasted 3 months so far without the car started up then the car starts first time. The car will just not die

Can wire the shed into the flat alarm but i'm not a fan of having wires all over the place.
