Just got some clear lights of ebay without thinking. They showed up with a nice sticking saying 'Not for road use'.

I sent an email to the seller complaining as to why this wasnt mentioned in the description.

Im informed they are uk legal if I attatch red reflectors to the back of my car.

Has anyone done this? anyway of making it look half decent?

you just need red reflectors on the back of your car. obviously clear ones don't have them.

i've seen some people incoperate them into the rear bumpers and smoothed etc.
most people tend to dump them and then stick some on MOT time.

The lights arent e marked, but im told even an e mark doesnt nec mean the lights are UK legal.

Im going to get some small red bike reflectors and stick a magnet to them.

if they arent e-marked you will have trouble at MOT time and with the Law if you get stopped,

however if you put some small reflectors on the back On magnets as you suggested, this may stop you from getting stopped as the police will see you are trying

mate just keep ya old ones and change them problem solved i did that for two years. police pull you over but say nothing they dont no the difference as long as you keep the bulbs looking the right colour dont let them fade and go white. Keep them painted well so they nice and red or yellow and you will get no troubles
