are there any differences from old coscast heads to new coscast heads apart from the marking under the exhaust ports ?

the lifters are hydraulic dude, tappets as such dont exist in these engines

cheers lads what about the coscast heads , are there any other differences from old to newer ones
fitting this weekend and then it back on the road after 4 long weeks of waiting

The castign alloy seems to be different between the early ones and the later ones. Also the finishign to the valve throats is far better on the early heads, but over all there is little difference in them.

There is only one Coscast head the later is a Gm cast and suffers the dreaded porous problem...

no theres 2 different coscast heads with different sized valve guides!

well which one of the two coscasts has bigger valve guides ???
the newer one with the coscast marking under the exhaust port
