Vauxhall 2L 16v C20XE Engine 'kit'
A late 1993, K Reg 2L 16v (redtop) Calibra C20XE engine

Parts include M2.8 fuel system, KS 16v head, cam shafts (pair), tappets (hydraulic), engine block with crank, pistons and rods, alternator (70A), starter motor, 1yr old LuK clutch with pressure plate, flywheel (pot-type), M2.8 ECU, ECU loom with sensors, Janspeed 4-2-1 exhaust manifold, oxygen sensor, inlet manifold, throttle body, fuel injectors (BOSCH blue - ultrasonically cleaned), engine mounts, air box, ISCV, AFM, ignition, HT leads, DIS, coolant pipes, PAS pump.

Parts not included: coolant bottle, PAS pipes, radiator, CAT.

Price also includes the extra items.....
Good condition 2nd hand C20XE forged pistons (MAHLE 86P31W3++, GM P/N 90 285 469).
Good condition 2nd hand C20XE valves (16 off, 8 inlet, 8 exhaust, sodium filled).
Free bottle of GM 5L 15W40 mineral oil (good for bedding in rebuilt engines).
Free GM C20XE oil filter.

Why is the engine being sold?
Bought to do a conversion to the corsa but never got round to doing it and now have a change of plan
The head has never gone porous but as its all apart, its wise to get it de-poroused just in case it does one day. www.v-tuning.co.uk can do this for about £150.

All that is required to get it up and running is....
New water pump.
Cam belt and alternator belt and associated rollers/tensioer.
General engine rebuilding service parts (ie head bolts, end cap bolts, head gasket inlet and exhasut gasket, piston rings, spark plugs etc).
The bores and valves guides are in good condition, just need replacing them with the supplied valves and pistons. Bores will need to be honed before new piston rings are fitted.

This is a good base engine to do engine modifications to as its already in bits (ie lighten flywheel, balance the crank etc) to make it a good normally aspirated engine (ie throttle bodies, port and flow head etc) and then fit it into the chassis of your choice.

Also included engine mounts, shafts and anti roll bar spacers

ttt....i have seen this, def. worth the money, espexially with the forged pistons, new valves etc. All you need is a little mechanics know how to put it all together.
