mates fuel pump has packed up on his 1.2 16 and was wondering if my spare 1.2 8v was any good for him?cheers

i ran a 1.2 8v pump on my 1.4 16v for god knows how long without even realising  , had to change it to a 16v pump when i put valver in as couldnt supply enough fuel, as far as i know the only diff is one is for single point injection and the other is for multi thus they run diff pressures, but as i say i used spi pump on my mpi engine for ages and i didnt even realise

So long as fuel pump is mounted in the tank then you should be ok. 1.2 16v fuel pump is same as Vectra v6.
