Comes on when i get to about 3-4 thousand revs, then also when i come to a stop engine cuts out? ant ideas what it could be??

air flow sensor, idle air control valve or automatic choke could be stuck, restricting air flow at high revs and flooding it at low revs.

hey baza been having the same problem with mine. have to leave it for 2-3mins in the morning because it bascially wont go anywhere. and have a massive flatspot 3-4 rpm and the light comes up.
got it tested for £50!!!!! got bum raped by vauxhall again.
mass air flow meter.

could it be because my air box feed pipe thing has come off? so it will be sucking more warm air in?

Yeah, had that with my AFM. Got it replaced and changed my induction kit for the standard airbox... problem solved!

same thing happened with mine, i replaced the air flow meter and the sensor and it was fine after that. do you have to leave it running for a while in the morning?
