What are the best makes or tyres out there at the moment???

I need a good set which are not too soft a compound but offer good grip in the wet and dry.

I have Toyo Proxy T1-s's at the mo and although they are pretty good and are also come at good price (£35 each) they are a tad to soft and wear very quickly.

They have a new tyre out at the mo called the T1-R but I'm not to sure how hood they'll be.

I need 195/50/15's and dont really want to spend over £40 each on them

Any thoughts??????

P.S, please bear in mind that I have the XE corsa and that i'll go through tyres quickes than the smaller engine cars

I would recommend Uniroyal Rainsports.

They were on the 15's i got with the car and handled the power no probs in the dry.
Never got around to driving it in the wet with the 15's.

There on Catriona's 17's, its so much grip in the dry and wet you wouldnt believe!!

I've had mich energy and pilot, stunners and kumhos. All lasted out quite well for everyday use. I got mine in terms of price so depends really.

Cheap rubber is not worth a wank. A mate got some Arrow ones or some shit make like that and fucked them within 10,000 miles.
