if i was to put it onto a car, will i need to wait till the logbook for the new car i ahve bought or can i change the reg staright away. i know iv got to wait a week or so for the tax discs to be sent but need to know if it matters if the logbook is in the old owners name.

Shouldn't matter about it being in previous owners name. It'll just be like selling the plate to him and then him giving you the plate with the car.. (I think )
