for a coilover less than a year old?



It looks pretty bad to me, but dont really have anything to compare it to!

no, they come zinc plated, so should be as rust proof as galvanised steel.
the thread prob would have been greased, which may have come off when you've moved the platform, but the whole thing shouldn't be tarnished that bad.

J100 dan, had aq similar problem, so i reckon FK have had a bad batch back from plating.

You reckon its worth trying to do anything about? Im about to order a single strut to replace the accident damaged one, might get a replacement set of front ones and take it up with FK?

even my SPAX ones when they were a year old before being replaced for new weren't that badly rusted, they were just bubbling slightly below the paint & there apparantly the WORST for rusting!

I'd say claim it under warranty, as myke says, they shouldnt be rusting yet!

i'd send them all back if they're all in a similar state.

a kit that you're paying around £400 for shouldn't degrade that much in the finish within a year.

kinda worrying when you consider what happened to j100rsa

the highsports are after getting cheaper in the last year they were crazy expensive at one stage....
