The engine management light came on today so i did the paperclip test and got code 12, which means initiation of diagnosis 
No other codes came up
What shall i do?

think the light has to be on for longer than 20s (guess) or something before it will log it. so if it just flashed up quuickly then it wont be stored.

in that case defo take it 2vaux n they'l plug it in2 there tech 2. woz the car runnin shite wen the light woz on?

i know it sounds stupid but did u wait for it 2 flash 12 3 times?? also have u disconnected the battery since?

12, 12, 12, then the rest of them.
if you stopped short then you won't have seen what was to come.

 didnt know 12 came up 3 times
The code i got is 43, its a 1995 GSi
Which fault code list do i use on here?

It seemed fine when i drove it.
Does anyone know how much Primary ignition (distributor systems) High voltage
costs to fix?
Is it serious?

Your best bet is to phone vauxhall 2moro and ask them, then get hunting!

it could be as simple as some bad wiring or a dodgy earth though
