At least the nucleus of the team is English.
And the fact that this years Premierships team of the year was almost all English.

i dont think you did , that was your opinion , begining of the season they looked shite and no one would have considered them to win , it took a few months for it to turn around.

in the summer when they bought everyone, i'd say 99% of poeple i spoke to about the new season al said the same thing, chealski will win it because noone else can compete with that amount of money being thrown around.

no but can you really expect a team whos never played together to click for the 1st time they play 2geva? no. took a while to gel but everyone know they wud.

Spot on mate, it's not easy to gel all good players together.. I've found this out on Footie manager 2005 
Also to be fair we done pretty well considering we dont really have a decent forward and an injured left back, leaving us in the situation of a right back / centre back playing in the role

don;t understand that comment. clubs buy players to make the team good. if chelsea buy a load of players whats the big deal. they have young players as well as the more mature member of the squad

Makes me laugh when people think they only won the league cause we spent roughly £130M on the players we have in the squad. You need to make the player play also, not only did we win the league we fuking dominated.
Every team that has won the premiership has spent mega bucks to win it

you cant say they bought the title, because its not for sale, and there is nowere in the rules that says teams are only allowed to win the leauge if they spend less than 10m a season lol. i dont like chelski or there manager, he's a twat, but we'll silence them on tuesday so it will be ok

it will get that way, they will end up like real madrid. Great team, great players, but over-rated! The year Mourinho doesn't win anything he will be out of the door. Will end up going downhill (i hope)

Chelsea have done well,
but the comment on arsenal spending a fortune on transfers is stupid. Arsene wenger is by far the best businessman/manager in the league. The only player arsena; have sold and lost money on was anelka.
And the transfers you listed have been over the last 6 years, chelseas have been in 2 seasons.
If you have the money then you can buy who you want and build the best squad, just like ferrari in formula one!
So the gap gets greater each year. I think you will find in the next few seasons there will be a cap on the amoutn you can spend to try and make things level again!
