Anything that shares its name with a big red dog is not to be trusted IMHO

It's not the alarm, unless it's a faulty one... It's normally the way its been hacked in, I mean fitted by an approved profesional. Don't just about all Audi's come with alarms fitted on them anyway? Newer ones ofcourse before the "1977 Audi bum-wagon didn't come with an alram" comment.

I had a Concept 300 on my old Astra, it was a nightmare! But to be honest it was down to the fact the person that installed it did such a shit job on it.
He blamed it on my car being an auto...
Kind of makes me lose faith in having aftermarket alarms installed in any of my future cars...

And when the key suddenly decides it doesn't want to let you into your car anymore you are very screwed, as my dad found out in his old A8

also the other reason im sure its the alarm, is that when it was doing the same on sat it locked the ECU so you couldnt plug in the dianostic machine

Wouldn't have a Clifford. My mate works for Tracker now but has been in car security for years and he said he has had to remove more Cliffords than he has fitted so now doesn't do them. I know it's only his opinion but I trust it.

I'm getting a Concept 650 with central locking and boot pop. It's the new version of what Steve had in Snowy, caused him no problems so I think it should be alright. It comes with a lifetime garuntee and they will pay up to £500 of my insurance excess if the car is stolen... Thats a pretty good garuntee, but 9 times out of 10 is the stereo or wheels that get nicked...
