It says around 150mph, the 'official' top speed for a Cavalier is 138mph so it's close...............

looks fairly clean. its under a grand at the mo. not bad money for what it is. tidy gte int, minimal rust on the arches. 150mph would be obtainable, just, lol

Nah we were showing 140 and the civic vti we were passing was showing 144 with standard wheels etc.... So yes chance matey.... Cavy had 170bhp tho. But weighs more than a tank.

yeah your point is? both speedos would be out by pretty much the same, speedos always read 5-10% over, I have never seen a car which has been bang on, even as standard they overread, wheels just make it worse

bloke at work has a 1.4 16v sport with allessio 2's on his speedo reads exactly the same as his snooper and the snooper has sat nav

every car i have wired by bluetooth gps up to, car always reads about 5-10% over its a known fact that stock speedos overread, ok there may be the odd true one, but generally they overread

my mate has a 1.0 12v and i know thats well acurate cos he chased a cheetah across africa in it and them things can run at 60mph and he had exactly 60 on the clock.
