Depends what you have done. Could spend 1500 if it all needs replacing, could get away with a gasket set.

You don't get a full engine. You will then need to buy all the sensors, pumps, distributor, etc.
IIRC

lee gets his engines from martin,
you can get martin to rebuild the engine, new pump, belt, big and little ends, whatever you want before it is fitted into the car!
You will then need to run the car in for 1000-1500 miles

With an engine that old a re-build is recommended and will save you posting on here how many problems you have with it.
It may cost you a few more £££ but in the long run it will be cheaper.

ill get a rebuilt one day when i can afford to have the car off the road. make it lovely and spray the engine bay and really take my time over everything.
but at the time i needed the engine sorted asap as the old one died. only rob i had was with the cluth cable and the icv needed a clean
fingers crossed

the only way to get a new engine is a engine exchange from vauxhall, it cost around the £1400 mark, you exchange your block for one reconed and rebuilt by vauxhall

I knew that was you, you homosexual. I saw you in your Astra GTE and I was trying to work out whether it was you or not.
You were with another car.
On the way back from Southend yeah?

Two girls in the back two blokes in the back, I prefer to sit in the back on the return journey.
Seems really weird sat in the back of a Corsa after all the years sitting in the front.
BTW, have you had your skirts sprayed white?

four in the back and the little one said... ollie stinks
No not had my skirts sprayed mate, there are none on the car as it had just been sprayed.
Im now trying to decide if I like it better with or without the skirts on... I was trying to go for a standard theme but it does look smooth without them!

Put them back on, other wise people will think its not a real GTE.
