apparently my ecu is fcuked and needs reprogramming its getting sent to derby to get looked at.Does any one have any idea how much this will cost? will it b cheaper to get a new one

cheaper to but a second hand on with chip and ring

Just buy a new second hand one, every scrappy I have been to have loads and loads and loads of ECU's.....

BUT you will need a chip and ring to match the ECU otherwise will not start up

looks like you have a 1.4 16v if you want it let us know

anyone know if the engine numbers will be the same on a sport from 98 to one from 2000. same model and engine size.
