is there an ad on kit for the toad alarm which lets u use remote engine start or can u buy a separate one to do the same job?

whats the point? Its crap as if you do have one it renders your CAT 1 status void.
Plus i've heard stories of people who leave cars in gear and use the feature

i think they're great.
too much money for what is essentially a gimmick, but they can be very amusing.

yeah but your not suposed to start your car and leave it iddling from cold (unless turbo) you are suposed to drive it stright away.

As far as I know there isn't an "add on" offered for the Toad models. It invalidates the alarms CAT 1 status and is a worthless gimmick!! Oh one more thing, it's impossible to activate remote start whilst the car is in gear (with the Clifford models at least, not sure about other brands)

I had one of these on my corsa, fully fitted with cat 1 alarm for only £300!! They are pretty good because you can start the engine, and the heaters will warm up whilst the doors are still locked, so the car is hot and demisted when you get in. I sold the car though, and the guy did start it when in gear and the car hit a post!!! gutted
