Got a new clutch fitted about a week ago and yesterday it packed in.

Was driving along and then nothing car was still in gear and lost drive just revs up as if always slipping. You dont even need to dip the pedal to get it into gear but it doeant seen to engage the gear.

Any ideas so when i take it back to the garage that done it dont try and hit me with some bullshit.

Why would he undo the flywheel.

Probably a cheap shít recon clutch.

Or if release bearing was sticking on nose cone would very quick go through a clutch!

Sounds like the clutch was never aligned properly, or he didnt take the retaining clips off the pressure plate when it was installed.

well obviously the input shaft is not long connected to the engine....

so IMO its either the flywheel bolts have snaped/or come loose or the presure plate is fooked dont think it can be anything else

??

And it wouldnt sound like a bag of spanners if the flywheel bolts had come loose?

Actually no it would probably have just smashed the gearbox.

It did cross my mind about the input shaft coming out but I didnt think any of the corsas had the plate on the bottom to drop the clutch? I thought all corsas were a box off job dfor the clutch?
