hi all.

me and 2 mates have picked up a nova 1.3 sport last night, its in peacies tho (no engine in, no brakes, no front arches)..... were gettin 2 engines with it.... a 1.3 sport engine on twin webbers(i think) and a 1.6 irmisher engine - both need building. it has been in a lock up under sheets, the last owner was going to rebuild the engine and drop the 1.6 in but never got round to it.....

the shell is in ok condition i suppose..... not much rust (just on rear arches).
it has a full roll cage and bucket seats with harneses looks in mint condition.

it hasnt been touched in 6 years!! BUT with there being 3 of us with alright knowledge and split costs, i think it would be great fun and some we can hopefully get it on a strip in a years time maybe

was the nova sport limited edition?? on 503 made or somethin??

does anybody no any specs of these models??

if thers any site or any tutorials/guides on novas and nova engines you no of leave the link below pls

(will have pics hopefully at weekend)

put it back to originality and you could make a nice bit of money for it..

just sorted a donor car aswell. my uncles got a nova sr for sale ..... totally rust free in good condition, just has a few engines probs

yer we refurbing original alloys.... everything going back to how it was

Your best bet is to use the Sport engine (1300 SR) built to the original spec including the Irmscher kit.

Sports didnt come with alloys, but your best sticking to some retro five spokes or competition wheels.

If you need any advice building it, drop me an email.

yer, ive done reading up on them.... it seems as you said if built to the original spec the 1.3 will we more powerfull than the 1.6 gte, a second quicker to 60!

some good advice will probly be needed some where along the way so will keep it in mind
