thinking of buying 2 sets, 1x bonnet 1x boot - my question is, do any of you folks have them and if so, when you unlock the boot/bonnet do the struts lift them into the open position unassisted?
i have my boot smoothed and was hoping that a nice pair of struts would lift the lid when i open it from the button inside...
Thanks folks,

don't know if you can get chrome boot struts.
but the the bonnet ones, u'll have to release it from the latch first, then just give it a little help with lifting and it will lift by itself..
Although mine rocks the whole front end of the car when it fully extends, so i tend to slow it down when it reaches the top.

very easy, 5-10 minute job.
no drilling required, just put a few bolts in existing wing holes.
