i want to put a smaller size number plate than a standard one on the front of the car. what size is best? also can the police do you for it i.e points or a fine

go into a motor shop and ask for a medium sized plate. they are legal, however the police may try and do you for it.

i got motorbike rear plate on the back and got an on the spot fine for it...
i dont see y its to small for a car and not for a bike!?!?

go onto the dvla webiste, they have the exact dimensions you are allowed letter spacing, gap between lettering and edge of the plate etc
