when im driving my car is misfiring constantly so i changed the spark plugs took it round the block and it still happened so i took the spark plugs out and they were black bright so i changed them again and they were black bright after ten minutes of driving, the exhaust is black bright too also the engine management light is on can anybody help. cheers

you need to do a paperclip test to find the reason for the light being on. the black plugs and exhaust is a sign of engine running rich (too much fuel) i would guess lambda sensor or coolant temp sensor.

its too rich cos its missfiring, the fuels not gettin burn, check ya leads first, does it do it on idle???
could be dis pack playing up as said if ya car is older than an r-reg the paperclip test will tell ya the fault code logged on ya ecu
