First of all I used the original 1.2 linkage and struggled to locate some gears, I’ve since swapped it for a nova style type, the one that you can swivel the white nylon bit round for extra length (oh err) but this is too long and I have to put it back to its normal position for the linkage to fit in place.
Anyone any idea’s

i used the corsa linkage, didnt bother with the gearbox rear mount spacer, i just threw it away, ground the lip flat on the mount till it fits flush with f20, re-fit mount and fit std linkage back on. where the selector rod goes in through the bulk head there is a rubber gaitor, cut and remove this. set the gears up and everything went in nicely.
thats what i did above, worked for me, although dont mean to say it would work for anyone else as my car is strange
