Lotus Carlton would be hitting 278mph if it could hit the limiter in 6th.

3cm I was refering to gearing only - you would need serious horsepower to get near it.

The Monaro is also geared enough to hit 200mph - whack a supercharger on a VXR for 550bhp play with suspension settings etc that would be capable of 200mph

The LC and the Monaro are cabable but would cost SERIOUS cash to get it there.

Wasn't it an aston or was that 300mph surely that would be wrong though as 300mph is too fast for a normal car?

a calibra with a C36GET (theres a few in germany) would in theory beable to hit 200mph as it has the bhp to do it, but lower air risistants

yes jr is the aerodynamics that i think will stop most cars, look at anything designed to go fast, the main shape is the same be it planes, cars or boats.

most vauxhalls don't have the shape to do it imo

on paper you would need a rev limit of about 7800 rpm in a cav/ cally to hit 200. but then you would need about 800 brake to bloody get there
