I considered another Corsa a few days ago. Was all set to stick some for sale signs on the Vectra and make enquiries, then stopped and thought to myself - "What the fuck are you doing?!"

I have owned Calibra turbos novas etc.... and always wanted a cav turbo and ill never get rid of it - funny thing was i never thought i would own a corsa - then i bought one and i do really miss the thing.
Need something to bone around it whilst the cav gets some attention

Cav is not that bad - just silly things really - head needs changing - clean the bay up - get little bits of paint done etc... Just to make it totally mint

seen quite a few good-uns go through the motor auctions in liverpool when I went visiting to see what its like, few 1.2 8v & 1.4 8v & the odd SRi too, the SRi was smokey though, but only £60 & had all documents with it (V5, and strangely even MOT & 2 months TAX)
would of got it, but already got the GSi & need another X16XE to play with so still lookin for a cheap sport

Are you still running 2 bar of boost? Any new on the front mount yet?

That was one boost spike
Head went pourous was repaired but im still not conveinced so im having something done to my spec
Sort all the other bits out - wont take long if i dont "have" to use the car if you know what i mean.

I know that feeling, I couldnt live with my Impreza every day! Better off having something slow as well, that way every time I get in the Impreza (which is once a week these days) its 320bhp still feels like 320bhp! Helps keep you interested and less likely to mod it!

Thats it - i used to run a second car when i had my Calibra turbos best thing i ever did. Plus dont have to eorry about leaving it anywhere etc.....
Felt very quick - i say that but i was in 2wd

Thats it, theres no way Id take my P1 to ASDA. The number of times Ive parked there in the Escort and had the person in the next car open the door on it or trolleys roll into it! Like you say, doesnt matter if your in a shed!
The only thing that does get on my nerves about driving a shed all week is the number of little chavs that pull up next to you and blow you into the weeds and theres nothing you can do about it! If I were in my other car!!!

I can realte to that as well my runabout before was a flame pink red 1.2i nova. So slow but it loved screaming its arse off and it did.............everywhere.
