My car which is very simlar to yours made 286bhp and 270lb/ft of torque with just a back box.
After a remap using 100 RON fuel, fuel pump, down pipe, de cat, full zorst, 3 port boost solenoid and boost uppage and some intercooler tweeks the best its made is 321bhp and 312lb/ft of torque.

Do rolling roads account for 30 mins of reversing around trying to get into a parking space then?

Ah right I see!!
I think as standard you should be holding around 1.1bar with peaks up to 1.2bar. I now hold around 1.25-1.3bar with 1.4 peaks.

Yeah, that place seems very reasonable! Would quite like a set of those Megan headers!

Yeah, does free up a serious amount of breathing space for the turbo! Its just that there are so many lean spots on the map of most of the classic shape STI's as standard that a re map is needed after de catting to allow for the extra boost/fuel/breathing. Its not uncommon for them to go pop shortly after de-catting!

Im sure that STi versions 4-6 only had 1 cat anyway? was the earlier versions that had 2?
my random guestimate figure is 288 bhp and 265 lb/ft

Bargain! Were they good quality?
I would love to mod the Impreza but it is set up so well as standard that I dont want to ruin it!

yes quality was good, bought them off ebay.
Yeah keep the P1 standard, any money spent on it should be money keeping it mint.
