hi, just got 1994 sri 8v, only been driving it for around a week,
thing is when i got it i thought, god this is quick, but today it just seemed normal, its hard to explain.
not sure if im just used to the car now or something is holding it back. how can i realy tell.

i supose the easiest way qould be a 0-60 test, but then what sort of tme should my 0-60 be, 1.4 8v sri 1994 - no mods at all.

According to http://cars.kelkoo.co.uk/b/a/ps_12249950/100354123.html , the 0-60 should be around 14 seconds.

SRi is 10.5 to 60 according to Vauxhall.

you get used to the speed, i got my calibra turbo, and thought wow this is quick, then it felt normal, then got phse two and it was quick again, now its just normal again
i think the olny option is a 1000bhp skyline, cant see that feeling normal at anypoint

do a 0-60 test.... it'll show ya.
also depends a bit on engine temp etc... if its a real hot day mine feels sluggish, but when its cool it pulls nicely.
check air filter isn't blocked up, also decat is a good way to fell the pull, i've noticed mine has lost a lot of pull higher speeds or higher revs since i've put the cat back on.
