My corsa b 1.2 16v 2000 model started loosing power and juddering on pull off. I was told several times that it was the 'air flow meter' that had gone and needed replaced. However i just bought one (£120) and fitted it today and it seema to have made the power come back, but it still judders on pull off and the engine light comes on when it idles.
Could this be the 'air idle control valve' ? I havent muh idea when it comes to engines, please advise if you think you may know, any help greatly appritiated !
thanks !

If i were you i would pay the £50 unless you know how to read the codes asyour just plucking guesses out of the air which will cost you more in the long run. I have experience of doing this and it costs me loads in the long run replacing parts that need replacing

seems to be getting worse now ive fitted a new air flow meter, Its cutting out now when i start it, when i pull away normally it jerks and revs iraticaly at about 1,500 revs, only way around it is to get to 2,500 revs and then pull away, unless i wanna look like a learner kangerooing on pull off. Its sooo fucking anoying !

It could be a number of things. Collant temperature sensor, EGR valve, Lambda sensor.....When mine goes wrong I get my mate to plug it in to Tech2!! Useful when you know people at Vauxhall!

Just a thought, do the RAC carry mobile diagnostics devices ? I could call them out and see if they can find the fault for free !!!

The AA couldnt read mine when I called them out. They could only read the Corsa C from year 2000 on
