i have a 1.5d corsa,yea yea diesel bla bla bla. ne way, how can i improve the performance of it?its too expensive to get a LET so how can i improve the current engine. cheers

put another enigne in. surely you dnt need a LET. but i think seen as urs is a diesel it isnt as straight forward as most other cars to change engines

for the power gains it would be easier to put a petrol engine in, maybe a 1.6 sport engine? get a car cheep that has accident damage, you can get a decent sport interior this way also

na ive spoke to lee mitchell and he said its basically guna cost twice as much to change the engine over compared to everyone else cuz ive got to change everything i.e. fuel tank, pipes and need a custom engine mount

yea lee was guna do that but ive just put 12months mot on it.nowt has gone wrong with it in 3yrs and i dont want to sell it and buy a potential heap of shit.being a student i cant take the risk really m8

trying to convert your diesel to TD is the only way forward for least amount of cash i reckon, or wait until you can afford something better. lot of faffing around though, unless you can find a complete 1.5TD engine, and drop that in

have a look for a turbo engine in the scrapyard mate, my dads work van has just had a 1.7turbo fittted, was only £70 from scrappies with 65k on it
