HI GUys
Came out to my 2000 corsa b the other morning and tried to start it, but i got absolutly nothing! just silence! car wont even turn over! I parked it there the night before and it was fine!
The paperclip test doesnt work on my car (The light is lit orange) so im not sure whats wrong! Cant get the car to a garage either! theyll have to come to me! Anybody have any ideas or advice??

its the battery matey, had this with my car the other night. get a battery charger on it and give it a good drive or replace battery

No, its definitly not the battery, ive full poewr coming from the battery, and my ecu light is now on aswell!!

so you can turn headlights on/off etc? the eng man light comes on anyway when key is at 2nd position

if it was immobiliser the em light would be flashing and the car would turn over but not fire up.
the reason the light is on is because the engine is not running.
will be a faulty battery or a poor connection/starter motor fault.

had a dodgy wired car before and a wire came loose on the starter motor which caused this. Check your wiring around here
