I am learning to drive in a manual car, as I'm sure most of you probably have aswell so I guess I prefer that, but after driving my dads auto car it's so much easier lol

What do you prefer and why?

Make sure you pass in a manual otherwise you'll have no choice!

Auto if you want to be lazy but use more fuel and go slower.

If you want to legally drive a manual as well as an auto, pass in a manual, if you can't be arsed, pass in an auto.

I can drive manuals but I am lazy, hence why virtually nearly every car I've owned has been an auto!

Autos are a bit pants in anything under a 2.0 though.

My dad swears by them but he is old, IMO u have so much more control with a manual i feel more intune with my car.

Autos drink way too much juice. My heavy foot really does not help the matter in hand either.

take your test in a manual, if not your gonna have to get a auto and in all honesty they are very crap, the only decent automatic ive ever been in is a jag xjs the olddddd one, with the sport button that gives your engine that little bit more, vroom.

manuals are better all around, faster, less boring to drive, all in all cooler. auto's are for fat lazy old men imo
