cant you wire it into the power wire for the wiper motor and use the stalk used to operate the wiper to pop the boot?

bit dodgy, you could accidently push the stalk and your boot would fly open

I have had mine on my wiper stalk for over a year now and i havent had any problems with it. My boot is that heavy with the badboy that it needs to pop twice to open so even if i knock it it wont fly open
