whats happened?

was fixing the boot lock on my vectra, unlocking and locking the central locking.. it suddenly the central locking stopped working.. battery died.. wouldn't start

Tried jump starting it, took ages.. still wouldn't start but started turning over a bit better... bump started it by pushin.. then worked left it running and the maintinence light came on after a trip to the petrol station (trying to charge the battery a bit with a run to get petrol) and started running really bad, ticking loudly... light went off though..

seems ok but is not running very well?

Any ideas? altinater? battery?.. think i just need a new battery

I think your car is possessed!

Have you got a Vauxhall battery with the charge indicator on it?

OK. You say maintenance light - do you mean the orange engine light?

No its the light with a car and spanner.. not the engine managment light... i think it might be the altinator to be honest but you never know...
