I'm running carbs on my XE and its putting out 163lb/ft @ 5226rpm (180bhp).

Iceman's XE with TB's running 200bhp looks about 150lb/ft (on his graph) - seems a little low. Lovely car though

Some other XE's (standard) on here come in around 140lb/ft.

What is your XE putting out? Just curious

it was 152lb ft @ 4400 rpm, then i put a ghey exhaust on the car and it dropped to 138 ish. Hopefully it will be back up to 150 ish on tues

yeh i was very pleases with the torque, perfectly flat curve and the car pulls from 1k - 6k revs with ease

just a bottom end rebuild on mine

if i put longer trumpets on the throttle bodies i would get more torque

me too but lack of room around the bulk head is a BIG problem.....
