What do you expect if its not a standard part? which its not on the engine. The oil cooler was put there for good reason.

They are very good and geniunely honest when something isnt in stock.

With such descriptive wording of the part you wanted, are you surprised they didnt have what you wanted?

The oil coolers are only needed on Cavalier GSi's because they supposedly had an engine cover at the bottom of the engine bay therefore oil wouldn't be cooled as efficiently in the sump. The Astra GSi's don't have oil coolers for that reason. Also just about every person who has a 2.0 16v engine fitted in a Corsa dosn't use an oil cooler because THEY ARE NOT NEEDED in this aplication. I also gave a better description than stated here. Then upon visiting my local Vauxhall dealer I gave the same description to which I was presented the part. God some people on this site...

Have you actually read my post?
Its not listed on EPC so Autovaux wouldnt see it! I know exactly what your talking about - there is no part number i can see! So how would they now what it is - and how would they know what a "thingy" is?
God some people on this site
Stop being so bloody picky.

If you want to remove the oil cooler the right way you acutally use 8v parts

Autovaux are awsome, use them loads and loads for parts.

and if you even need anything for a 2lt 16v converstion, ask for Neil who works there, he knows what all the parts are people order for corsa converstions.

Teddy part number on EPC is 90144360 (small screw to get rid on oil cooler) also not all 2lt 16v came with oil cooler so wasnet need that much
