call me old fashoned, but the c16xe engine is ment to be in a corsa.....
also its more my style, prefer the noise and i like track/race style cars, they tend to be tuned lighter engines....

hmmm, if it was C20XE vs TB'd C16 i'd say the C16....I'm only going down the 2.0 route because its cheaper....But comparing it to the LET, i'd have to go for that i think!

Enspcially when you get more power at less revs as standard from a turbo lump ROFL.
Its like comparing a flymo with a small carb to a giant sit on beast you can cruise your garden in..... no contest ROFL

i supose it would depend.... if somebody said here ive built these to cars which one do ya want... i'd take the LET....
if i were building them myself the c16xe.... as much as i hate the gearbox i'd take that....
the LET is to much work...

c20let isnt realy too much work. out the box 204bhp etc etc sheer tourque is immense even on a std engine.
only comment i have to make is how many people have let's that have broke, are broken, running a bit crap etc compared to tuned c16xe's.
on that basis if it was to be an every day car id go for the 1600 16v on tb's. 2nd car/toy then c20let

C20LET on TB's with a dumpo valve innit
Once you've had a car on TB's you'd miss the sound too much, I'd love a LET but I'd have to have another Corsa to put it in

i dunno like, the mad ass loud scream of a turbo is kinda a cool noise aswell. tb's are a force to be reconned with on the noise front though

let, as a highly tuned 1600 will not cause problems as such, but a modded engine is likley not to last as long, and u wont get the same power/feel out of a highly tuned 1600 as u will from a let,
BUT ...
its your drag m8, s'up to yourself no1 can tell ya what to do
