well had some problems getting gears the othe night, then had no gears at all, anyway i has a fiddl eunder the bonnet, start ptetending i know what i'm doing, and by my surprise this time it paid off, i found what the problem was it was a little plug with 3 wires, 1black, 1 brown, 1 red/blue. i 80%sure its the speedo cable, but i have been thinking today,. maybe its the wire that goes to the turbo??

looks fine to me. plug it back in somewhere esle and stand back and watch the outcome, you never know, might be a random wire "superchip"

its the speedo sensor cable. if its not being used, after the conversion you may have gone to cable clocks? if so, snip it off and send it to me

because it fell down and trapped between the lever going into the gear box, and the side of the gearbox. so this is why it affected the gears
ed - my turbo is special, its called a TTP* turbo

that thing it got stuck on is where it plugs into, its the speedo sender . If the speedo is cable driven it is located right next to the gear linkage on the gearbox. I think thats right anyway..so removing it might cause problems.. but then again it might have just got stuck there like you said..

it defo got stuck where i said, and it wasnt near the speedo sender thing, it was just a loose wire, as the electric clocks dont work on that gear box.
