after some deliberation i decided that rebuilding mt let was far to much hassle so for much the same price than parts to build it, i bought this new from vauxhall.







also ordered phase 3.5, hybrid turbo and some bits so it doesnt go pop yesterday aswell. now all i have to do is put it all together and get it in the car

1200 quid. dont no what has been done but vauxhall seem to think it mileage goes back to 000000.

people sell lets for not far off that price, but with thousands of miles done by the engine

but aint you gonna have to take it all apart to make it phase 3?

steel head gasket and conrod bolts i all iam doing. vauxhall warranty

it 1200 on exchange, as in you have to give them the old engine.

they are built on the same line as the new engines. more or less everything is changed

and you dont get everything needed to run it. just the block and head basicaly

indeedy. any vauxhall part number that starts with R means its exchange only

do you have to exchange a let with them or a xe? or can you just exchange any shagged vaux engine?

and afte ri posted i realised you got fuck all else to run it lol , so its gonna be alot more that 1200

the engine has to be like for like but can be in any condition as long as it hasnt got a hole in it

came to 1200 before id even considered uprated components

Vauxhall dont call them re conditioned engines, they prefer to call them re-manufactured engines. That lump will be as new apart from it been run on a test bed.
