Not on a volvo

Dont think you can loos your boy racer roots Mav

I'm under the impression you dont really need one unless running a larger turbo or excessive boost. In most cases it can ruin drivability

Cars generally do run better with them on, as no compressor stall. Having said that I refuse to run one LOL

Try it and see..... if you dont like get rid!

my car drives 100% better with one one on.

Gears are punchier revs stay up, car even runs a tad smoother.

I dont see why the noise is "chavish" as ive never seen a chav with a turbo.

But then i dont worry what people think as i know im not a chav

Go for it mav

stick an induction kit on and you shall hear a similar noise to a dump valve and help the engine breath better if you get a cold air feed sorted properly....

most turbos have a recirc valve so his wont suffer from compressor stall.

atmos valves are a waste of time. increase lag. you'd want a forge twin piston if you were going down the chav route
