power gains, anywhere between 150 - 200bhp
cost, between £1500 - £2500 id say, more if you include rebuilding the engine as well

I'd much rather have a tb'd 16xe than a standard 20xe. 16xe would be quicker as well.
Worth the money if you can afford it, if you cant afford it a standard 20xe is a good cheap replacement.
Remember tb kits will always be worth decent money, XE's are worth naff all now.

it depends what you want really.... if you want a car that screams around the place really quick 0-60 and does around 135ish top end 1.6 16v TB's
if you want a car thats quick may handle slightly worse doesnt scream and is nice to drive on the motor way with around 140-145 top end then 2.0 16v...

id never have a 1.6 16v on tb's, drink to much fuel, very noisey, lumpy tickover, high maintainance...

i kno, i think the fuel guage was dodgy tho, as the 2nd half last about an hour, so effectively it was 300 miles to a tank. still not bad though. but that was givin it hardly any throttle, just cruising up the motorways at 70(ish) as technically i wasnt insured properly
