Things won't appear on the phone until you unplug from your PC.

if its not there you havent istalled it properly
if your running windows xp it should automaticly configure the phone to work,
if its not in my computer
click on start then go into control pannel
switch to classic view
then there should be a phone monitor options icon
click on it and if our phone isnt there its not installed properly
