Whats a good interest these days?

Obviously the lower the better, but surley that would be too easy to just pick that one or everyone would just choose it

Just found a site to compare a few and it came up with this:

http://www.uswitch.com/Loans/OutputTable.aspx?ref=op%7echeapest-loans-uk&SessionID=Qczl23WZt%2fbPY4HdIC5nGsTP31u0mg7f

Never heard of that company at the top though

Cahoot dont charge you though if you pay it off early and from looking on Northen Rock it does. Hoping for a large lump sum due to back pay at work so would pay that off as soon as i get it then hopefully reduce the payments monthly/reduce the lenght i've borrowed from

I applied to Northern Rock for a loan advertised at 5.8% a couple of months ago - it was an online offer - when I got my application approved though it was more like 12% so I went with CAHOOT as well - I agree - they're good.

Either that or get a few 6 months 0% APR cards and just switch em when the 6 months is up to different 6 months 0% APR.

Don't wanna put a downer on it but why not save up instead of a loan. I got a loan and was in alot of trouble paying it. If you desperatly need it then get it, if not then save a little bit

Thats probably because you took out a loan without calculating whether or not you could comfortably pay it off.

If you do all your homework properly, loans are a great idea.

the way i see it you have to save each month the amount you pay back and so you wait 3 years and then have the money and then buy what you want or you get it before and have 3 years enjoyment out of it and your still at the smae place in 3 years time!

and if its a direct debit you cant stop it if you are saving theres nothing stopping you dipping into it!

i know your just advising but 50% is still only half so that means alot of people also dont get another one!

and if your paying it back for 3 years then you would rather be saving for it and then spend after 3 years and have nothing in between!

the problem with debt is simple: its easy to get into debt, but a lot harder to get out of.
I just got a loan to pay off 5 credit cards. I chopped em all up and wont be getting another...
...ever! They're are the devils playing cards.
