As the days get colder & the chance of snow increases I realised that it might be a good time to start looking. Question is do I but a shitter & run it into the ground or buy a reasonable one to keep for a while.
What do you all have?
It'd be nice to have another Corsa as I know my way round them & maintainance etc would be easier but im sure there are "better" options out there to be had.
It even crossed my mind to get a newish car really low spec but I dont know if I can justify that kinda £££

Beast.
Much MOT & Tax?
That'd be a run into the ground option though imo, not sure if I wanna do that

mot till end of july and tax till december. seen it advertised on a road side. it had been there for about 2 weeks never moved and it started quiet as a mouse, drove fine so handed ove the cash. weve had a look underneath etc and there aint no reason why it would fail an mot next year, its mint.
reason basically i wanted something like that in the end was due to the tow bar and car dolly option. huge boot for spares. can dolly me corsa to anywhere it needs to be instead of driving it.
its so comfy to drive aswell. total opposite of a corsa. makes mine feel like a nasa shuttle when i floor it now.

I use my brothers Corsa 3 days a week to get to work and mine the other 2 days. Hes learning to drive so he drives to his work then I carry on driving it to my work.
Its a 1.2 16v exactly the same as mine but in Red.
I can see me buying a runaround for winter next year as its quite good having my car sat on the drive keeping clean for most of the week keeps the miles off my car too!

I used to have a run about as well as my corsa, it was a 106 1.4, quite reliable, nippy, great fun to drive. Not the height of luxury though...

buy it, fix it then run it into the ground. or dont fix it either way. be cheaper to run than the corsa over winter. my corsa wont see much of the road from next weekend till march time really
