What tyres are best for a corsa on 15's?
Size wise? 195/55/15?

I have 195/55/15 on my Astra - do not get these for your Corsa.
195/50/15 is standard size, if you wanna lower and not worry about scrubbage from the rear, 195/45/15.

185/55/15 or 195/45/15
195/5015s would do as well, but 195/55/15s would be far too bulbous....

depends on the widthe really, 6 inch wide would be best with 185/55/15, and they shouldnt scrub even lowered as they have the same rolling radius as the standard steelies/alloys

45's are best bet but depend son your offset - I was on ET 38 so 50's weren't ideal on a 60mm drop

45 profile will lose you some top end speed though, so it depends what you're after really, acelleration go for 195/45/15s, top end 195/50/15

yes, but they wouldnt be ideal, might scrub if its -60mm and driven hard
they are only a tiny bit bigger than the 195/50 15s

If you are lowering on 15s get 195/45/15 trust me they are better than the sizes anyone else has mentioned.

but they are smaller in radius than any tyres vauxhall ever fitted, thus losing top end speed
the sizes which are the same as vaux fit tyres are 185/55/15, or 195/50/15
195/45/15s would only be needed if you wanted your sump BELOW the floor

try them, they'll fit, shouldnt be a problem at all really unless your car is about .25cm from the floor

I had 195/45/15 tyres on 6.5x15 wheels ET42 offset, lowered 35mm with no problems. 195/50/15 on the above and I couldn't have any passengers in the back seat.

thats cos you had a gay offset sam, not due to the tyres
i've had 195/45/16s on mine with no probs, lowered 40mm with a 49 offset
my current tyres are 195/45 15s a with 49 offset on the compos and it wont scrub ever
195/45/16 is the same size as a 175/65/14 tyre, which i believe vaux fitted to my car originally

Yeah I know re. offset mate, but let's face it the majority of the aftermarket rims out there aren't gonna be ET49 are they!
Even all of Vauxhall's 4 stud 4x100 rims aren't ET49; the ones on my Astra are ET46.
Still, I suppose the above tyre profile questions really depend on what offset his rims are?

yeah, and 100% of the 3 sets of aftermarket rims i've had on my car have been 49 offset and required no spigot rings
personally i'd go for 195/50-15s as they are cheaper, last better, give a smoother ride and better top end, and also you can get some proper slaggy track tyres in that size too
