Wow, this is really hard to type, but its time to move on. Not sure what to yet but hey

I bought the car from Vauxhall Network Q in Ormskirk on the 11th feb 2000 as a totally standard Corsa Vegas 1.2 8v, I am the 2nd registered owner. In almost 6 years ( ) i have made a couple of modifications



















last pic is most recent, but car is now on standard colour coded mirrors.

Engine + Transmission-

2.0 16v conversion (C20XE) originally done by Lee Mitchell with m-tec shafts and hubs (legend ), HP Raid air filter, piper vernier pulleys, rocker cover breather mod, manifold back stainless 2.25' exhaust. Standard F20 gearbox, had a new clutch about a year ago. Engine has been regularly serviced every 8k miles, and has done roughly 73k miles (i know its 8k less than whats on the clocks) I also bought a brand new Air flow meter and Idle control valve about 3 months ago, both of these are comon faults and seem to go dodgy around this mileage. A few weeks ago i fitted a new rubber sump gasket and it hasnt leaked noticably since. It was rolling roaded a few months back at about 160bhp i think.

Suspension-

FK Highsport height adjustable coilovers, Raid adjustable front strut brace, big chunky PVD rear brace, whiteline 22mm rear anti roll bar (only a few months old) Corsa front anti roll bar.

Brakes-

Reyland AP racing 4 pot callipers, 310mm rotors with aluminium bells on the front and Astra GSi mk3 rear disks with new pads and new callipers on the rear done last month. Front brakes were bought on the migweb group buy earlier this year.

Exterior-

GSI rear Spoiler, front bumper, arches and sideskirts, vented front wing, Holden badge, delocked handles, BMW E46 mirrors, carbon fibre bonnet, FK grill. Wheels are Team Dynamics Pro Race 2s in almost perfect condition, 1 wheel has a slight mark where i touched a kerb when parking. 195/45 R16 Yokohama A539s with decent tread left.

Interior-

Rear seats removed, Momo race steering wheel, Cobra Clubman buckets, 3 point harness, PVD rear brace, MPS performance roll cage. I still have the original rear seats and can put them in if you want.

Stereo + security-

JVC CD head unit , Alpine door speakers with separate tweeters, JBL 6x9s. Cobra CAT 1 alarm and Imobiliser fitted by Base systems in Preston.

Comes with mot till April 06 and tax till aug 06.

The engine i have now is superb, you can tell its been looked after both whilst i have had it and before, its not smokey under load and it pulls well. It does tap a little in a morning but they all do this and it soon clears.

It doesnt have any cracks in the b pillars (common fault even on standard Corsa Bs) but there are a few small rust bubbles on the bottom of the drivers door. There is also a small scratch on the boot lid, but it hasnt gone through to the metal.

Overall its an ace car, im only selling it as ive had it so long but i secretly want to keep it for ever in a massive grand turismo stylee garage For those that dont know, some rough numbers for a 2.0 16v corsa are 60mph in 7sec, 1/4 mile in 15sec, top speed of just over 140.
