ok guys

I have this SRI Corsa that thinks its a kangaroo at around 3krpm. i have had a code 24 from the ecu, VSS (vehicle speed) but this generally makes the car stall not kangaroo. what else could it be. if i boot it it drives AOK but when i'm stuck behind a learner on a hill babying it in 2nd it bounces like f*&@. anyone any ideas.
