i find it very hard to believe the DVLA has the time, money and resources to monitor the majority of show plate makers in the UK, EU and USA i think they're bluffing

i was surpirsed the small plates wer legal anyway seeing as they made all the other plates illegal.
a shame tho if they ban them

the mini plates are totally legal mate, I have them on mine, as long as the fonts are standard and that they are the required distance away from the edges they will be fine

the problem is with them tho is tht police still try and fine u if u have them, i knw they cnt do out but theyl still constantly pull u over with them. but on my next car il be havin the small plates so they best still be legal then

When you buy them the person selling you them will tell you if they're illegal, the pc that makes them up will show this

my mate got stopped the other nite mate. threatened with points but just got a fine. his looked way more legal than mine too.
problem with mine is they are in italics also
so i really am buggered

Yea the font will get you pulled
Oh they cant issue points for plates only fines and give you a 21 day slip to change it and have the slip stamped at an MOT station
