Went to R-Tec yesterday and these are the way forward, have a lovely finnish to them.

I have a problem in that they are 8x18 inch and are ET38, I did'nt ask if they have any different offset.

I got away with ET38 on my hatch, lowered 55mm.
Think you will struggle with the width though.
